Curt Peterson, Store Manager

Hometown: Clinton, MD

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Curt is an Ice Hockey Official (yes, he breaks up the fights and everything) who runs for fitness. His first race was the famous Bloomsday race in Spokane, which he ran as a child with his dad. His current goal is to "conquer the racing world one 5K at a time."

Ashleigh Blair

Hometown: Herndon, VA (though really a misplaced Texan!)

Running Experience and Accomplishments: After coming to running later in life, Ashleigh has completed two half marathons and a full marathon, despite ACL replacement surgery.

Favorite....quote: "A ten-minute mile is just as far as a six-minute mile."

 

Tom Cook

Hometown: Alexandria, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Tom has spent the past 30 years racing and competing in on the track and road and in triathlon. He has completed over 300 races from the 5K to the 1/2 Ironman, and was the 2004 DC Road Runners Masters Runner of the Year.

Favorite....Race: Tim Harmon 5K (held annually in June in Fairfax, VA) -- Tom is the Race Director of this event held in memory of a friend.

 

Rory Duffield

Hometown: Amherst, NH

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Rory has more than 20 years of running under his belt and still competes in numerous road races from 5K to half marathons. He has been coaching Cross Country and Track at Thomas Edison HS for several years and is a VHSL Certified Coach and USAT&F Certified Official.

Chip Hulbert

Hometown: Reston, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Chip has completed over 15 marathons as a runner and a coach, the JFK 50 Miler and several triathlons of different distances. Chip has been a coach with Team in Training since 2003 and has helped hundreds of runners complete marathons and half marathon. He is currently a lead coach with PR Training Programs and heads up the Running 101 and marathon training programs.

Favorite....piece of advice: "Everything can happen in a race, so train for it."

 

Moise Joseph Moise Joseph

Hometown: Miami, FL

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Moise was a 12 time All-American while at the University of Florida. He competed for Haiti in the 2004 Olympics and has been a member of four World Championship teams. Moise is currently training and racing on the track at the national and international level.

Favorite....racing memory: "During high school I won the mile in a meet at the Gulfstream Horse Racing Track in South Florida. It was televised live to an audience of over a million and there were hundreds in the stands."

 

Meghan Ridgley

Hometown: Vienna, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Meghan competed locally at Marshall HS and Radford University, where she was the Big South Conference Champion at 10K and an NCAA qualifier in Cross Country. Now a member of the PR Racing Team and a success story for PR Training Programs, she made her marathon debut in 2003 at Philadelphia running 2:46:52 and qualifying for the 2004 US Olympic Trials. Meghan is back on the racing scene after the birth of daughter, Miranda, in 2008, and is looking for her 2012 qualifier.

Favorite...piece of advice: Always know where the bathrooms are.

Ward Sampson

Hometown: McLean, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Ward has been racing multisport practically since they called it multisport (maybe since before then?) Don't let his youthful appearance fool you -- he's been racing (on foot and on bike) on the road and trail since 1980 and has completed 10 Olympic Distance Triathlons, 15 70.3s, and 10 Ironmans -- and 2 marathons (not counting the ones he did in all those IMs.)

Favorite....Quote: "Take your training and your equipment seriously, and then just have fun on race day."

 

Todd Wait

Hometown: Ashland, OH

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Todd has finished two Marine Corps Marathons, three Army 10-Milers, and mutliple area 10Ks. He continues to get faster as he gets older.... A commercial pilot, Todd has the chance to run in lots of cool places.

Favorite....Places to Run: San Francisco Waterfront, Hyde Park in London
