Brian Wright, Store Manager

Hometown: Virginia Beach, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Brian ran track and cross country in high school. He wrestled in college where running was a means of making weight. Since college, Brian has returned to his running roots and is looking to get back in to some racing. Brian has run several half marathons with a PR of 1:29.30.”

Rory Duffield

Hometown: Amherst, NH

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Rory began running competatively in the 4th grade and now as a member of the =PR= racing team continues to compete in numerous road races from 5K to half marathons. In the spring of 2010, he ran his first ever marathon and ran a qualifying time for Boston. Rory has been coaching track and cross country at Thomas Edison High School since 2005 and is also an assistant coach with the =PR= High School Summer Training Program. He is also a VHSL certified coach and a USA T&F certified offcial. Rory's favorite local place to run is the Manassas Battlefields.

Steve Hoogland

Hometown: Springfield, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: As a local high school athlete at Lake Braddock Secondary School, Steve was the 3200m State Champion. He continued running collegiately at the College of William and Mary. He has since returned to be a Cross Country and Track coach at Lake Braddock, and currently can frequently be found racing on the local roads. Steve is an assistant with the PR Training Programs High School Summer Program.

Daniel Scolese

Hometown: Springfield, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Dan competed for four years of track and three years of cross country in High school. He currently attends George Mason University where he is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering hoping to commission in the Air Force. He continues to run for fitness and hopes to run a half marathon before he finishes college.

Bryan Morch

Hometown: Manassas, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Bryan is a former collegiate swimmer who got into triathlons as a way to train in the off season. Today, he still does triathlons but runs more for fitness.

Jay Hockenbury

Hometown: Vienna, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Jay ran cross country and track locally, at Madison High School. Jay continues to compete and has completed several triathlons and the marine corp marathon.

Kelly Kavanaugh

Hometown: Fairfax, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Kelly ran for James W. Robinson Secondary School and is still the school record holder in the 1000 M Run. While in high school, Kelly was nominated for the Fairfax County 'Donna de Verona' Spirit of the Sport Award. Kelly went on to run for the Virginia Tech top 7 her freshman year in 2009. Kelly transfered her sophomore year to run at George Mason where she currently still competes.

Pat Weaver

Hometown: Lancaster, PA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Pat completed 4 years of cross country and track at Houghton College in western NY and was a 2000 NAIA cross country all-American. Pat was a volunteer coach for cross country in Lancaster, PA and a head track coach in Harrisonburg, VA. Pat is currently a graduate student at George Mason University studying school counseling. He continues to run for pleasure and completed his first sprint triathlon in Charlottesville in the summer of ’10.

Hayley Sullivan

Hometown: Burke, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Hayley is local to VA, originally from Burke. A running enthusiast, Hayley has accomplished some excellent goals... she is a NCAA D3 national individual qualifier, was part of a 4x8 state champion team in 2006, a CAC champion in the 1500m in 2008, and a cross country and 5k champion in 2009.

Favorite.... Race:  Penn Relays.

Brian Cassidy

Hometown: Oakton, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Over the past two decades, Brian has used running primarily for conditioning and transportation.  Playing lacrosse in high school and undergrad, running was sometimes a punishment and sometimes a relief from training in pads.  Through law school, running was an escape from reading and training with the Rutgers crew team.  Brian has run the Marine Corps marathon a few times.

Favorite....Quote: "You need people and equipment to play lacrosse. You need a boat and oars to row.  To run, all you need is shoes."

Samantha Kinzer

Hometown: Clifton, VA

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Sam ran locally for Robinson Secondary and went on to run Cross-Country and Track at Virginia Tech. Currently, she enters mostly trail races and anything that old teammates can talk her in to, including her first marathon, the Grandfather Mountain Marathon in Boone, NC. (It turns out that the 800m is much more fun.) She is also currently a Youth Director for a local church.
