Race for Hope 5K

On May 2nd at 9 AM, join Team Krista for the 13th Annual Race for Hope - Washington, DC 5k Run/Walk Presented by Cassidy Turley, one of the largest national fundraisers to benefit the brain tumor community.  Team Krista was formed in 2005 in honor of Krista Thompson after her brain tumor diagnosis at age 13 and continues today in her memory.  To read more about Team Krista and how to become a member, click HERE.

Through generous gifts from individuals and company sponsorships, the Race for Hope - DC has raised more than $9 million in its history, including a record-breaking $2 million in 2009, and grows each year.  A 5K course in the nation's capital, the Race for Hope - DC is open to everyone, and is a fun way to join forces in the fight against brain tumors. The Race funds research and support services for those affected by this disease. Proceeds benefit National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
