Beat the Heat Series Finale: Carry the Cup Relay powered by On

Join the Vienna Run Club (VRC) at Caboose Brewing (Vienna) for the Beat The Heat Series Finale featuring a Carry the Cup relay powered by On Running. The featured shoe of the night will be the On Cloudstratus, which boasts a soft, yet explosive dual Cloudtec® system allowing you to double your run and go twice as far.
What is the Event Format?
– Runners will be assigned to Teams of four.
– Each Team will be given a cup filled two thirds full of water.
– Teammates will run a 1/2 mile course with cup in hand with the goal of not spilling any water.
– Upon returning to the start area, the cup must be refilled to the two thirds line and passed off to the next teammate. This process will be repeated until all 4 teammates have completed the course twice and fulfilled the theme of the night to #DoubleYourRun.
How are Points Awarded?
The Team with the fewest points win.
– 1 point for finishing 1st, 2 points for finishing 2nd, etc…
– 1 point for using 1 bottle or less to refill your cup during the relay. 2 points for using 2 bottles, etc…
– Is there a raffle prize(s), and if so how do I earn tickets?
Yes! Tickets can be earned in the following ways.
– Trying-On the Cloudstratus.
– Posting running related pictures to Social Media throughout the night using the hashtags: #RunOnClouds #RunVA #VRCrunning and #CabooseBrewing.
– Winning! The 1st place relay Team earns an extra ticket.
