On Thursday, October 25th at 6:30 PM join McCaul Benson and Terri Lanigan of The Jackson Clinics for a clinic discussing optimal running mechanics/exercise prescription to maximize running efficiency, injury prevention, and a focus on lumbo-pelvic health across all genders and the lifespan. Terri graduated from Marymount University. She received her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic PT and is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist
Terri works with patients across the range of musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative care. She enjoys working with all age groups to enhance their understanding for optimal movement and exercise to stay healthy and injury-free. She also works with patients with neurological disorders to improve gait, balance and coordination. She has specialization in pelvic disorders, and treats patients to address incontinence, pelvic pain and pregnancy-related and post-partum musculoskeletal disorders.
McCaul graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2016. She completed her undergraduate work at Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. She also serves as the clinical director at the Broadlands clinic, and helps to better serve our greater community with education and outreach projects.
McCaul has a strong interest and background in orthopedic injuries and balance conditions. She has experience working with various sports injuries, and enjoys working with weight lifters and runners. She continues to have a strong passion for promoting overall health and wellness to enhance the lives of her patients.
