Fun with Foam Rollers Powered by Loudoun PT

Join =PR= Leesburg and Loudoun Physical Therapy for Fun with Foam Rollers. We will start with our weekly fun run and Loudoun PT will be on hand post run. This event will include a full-body, runner-specific stretching session with a foam roller. Additionally, it will show how to help with IT Band Friction Syndrome, Piriformis Syndrome (a pain in the butt), low back pain, and calf tightness. Learn how to run your best without that annoying tightness or pain with something as simple as a foam roller!
Be sure to bring a foam roller if you have one or if not we will have a few for your to demo and try!
Meet the Workshop Presenter: Shannon is an avid runner and has completed six half marathons. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science with a Certificate in Pathokinesiology in Rehabilitation. She then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Miami. Shannon enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions including injuries to the spine, upper, and lower extremity injuries. Shannon is certified in advanced trigger point dry needling. She works with all age groups and can help with both balance and gait dysfunction.
