Healthy To-Go Breakfast Options for Runners

You run all the miles in the morning, then you need to run out the door. The only fast breakfast option seems to be a sad protein bar eaten in haste. And by the time you get to your desk, you’re starving. That supercharged latte and giant blueberry muffin sound like best option at this point. You’ve been told “breakfast is the most important meal,” but you just don’t know how to squeeze it in on busy mornings.

She’ll be talking about how to prepare a variety of different nourishing breakfasts so on busy mornings, you’re fueled and feeling good. She’ll also be chatting about basic nutrition principles and how to construct an ideal breakfast that will keep you feeling satisfied for hours. And it wouldn’t be a breakfast discussion without samples!
Beth is a local health and run coach known as The Rungry Health Coach. She coaches newbie and middle-of-the-pack runners to dial in on their nutrition, learn healthy-eating strategies and tips, and connect the dots between lifestyle and overall performance.
The seminar will start at 7:30 pm. Arrive early (6:30pm) to enjoy a 4-mile fun run around the National Mall. Your appetite will thank you once trying some of Beth’s delicious samples post-run.
