No Guilt Sweet Treats for Runners

The holiday season brings a few things: feelings of love and appreciation, immense happiness and a combination of heartburn and guilt from eating so much pumpkin pie, sugar cookies and chocolate fudge.
While the occasional luscious treat isn’t a bad thing, so much indulgence over a short period can make any runner uncomfortable both physically and mentally.
Join Beth, The Rungry Health Coach, as she discusses how to create sweet treats that won’t weigh you down or bring guilt. She’ll be demonstrating easy swaps and substitutions to elevate your holiday baking without sacrificing flavor. (And your guests won’t even know the difference!) And of course, there will be samples!
Arrive early (6:30PM) to get over the midweek hump with Potomac River Running Store as we #RunDC. Our 4-mile fun run encompasses one of the most iconic running routes in the country along the National Mall. The scenic backdrop of the monuments will leave you feeling empowered and ready to crush your fitness goals. The social experience will be high-energy and packed full of encouraging and friendly faces. Whether you are out for an easy jog or looking to knock out a tempo run, this group is for you.
