#1 Firecracker 5K for The Troops
Start the 4th off with a 5K. Dress in red, white, and blue from head to toe and make it a family affair. Whether you decide to race hard or enjoy a few festive miles it is sure to be a fun way to kick-off the day of celebrations! Sign up for the Firecracker 5k at prraces.com.
#2 Post-Race Treats!
Cool off with a Nuun Icepop or Nuun Mocktail. That’s right your favorite hydration tablet, Nuun is even better on a hot summer day when it’s turned into an ice pop or mocktail. Check out two of our favorite recipes below, and follow this link for more refreshing Nuun recipes.
Cherry Limeade Slushy

*1 cherry limeade Nuun tablet
*16 oz water
Directions: Mix nuun and water. Pour into blender and combine ice and water mixture. Enjoy!
Nuun Ice Pops
*1 Nuun Tablet (Your choice of flavor)
*Fruit ( we suggest red and blue berries!)
*Ice pop mold
Directions: Mix nuun and water. Place fruit into ice pop mold, pour water mixture into ice pop mold. Place into the freezer to set. Enjoy!
#3 Take a walk!
Celebrate the day with a stroll through your neighborhood or explore a new trail and make it a full day hike. Just be sure to pack a few extra snacks. We love Honey Stinger Waffles; easy to pack and enjoy out and about. Also, with the summer heat and humidity don’t forget to grab some extra H2O too!
#4 Backyard BBQ
Hot diggity dog it smells like a BBQ! Enjoy the evening with your bbq favorites and sides. Nothing says Fourth of July more than ending the day with your favorite BBQ dishes and a fireworks show surrounded by family and friends. Just make sure you are sporting head to toe red, white, and blue! Want to stand out this Fourth of July? Shop our Fourth of July collection for all things red, white, and blue!
