=PR= Vienna Assistant Store Manager
This month’s employee spotlight is =PR= Vienna Assistant Manager, Rachel Kramer. Rachel first started with =PR= as a staff member working in both the Reston and Vienna locations. This summer she joined the management team taking on her new role in =PR= Vienna as the Assistant Manager. If you have ever walked past the Vienna store and noticed the awesome window displays, Rachel is the one behind the scenes putting her creative spin on the displays. When Rachel’s not working on the window displays she can be found in the store helping customers find the perfect shoe!

Best Race Memory: First race I ever ran with my husband, was a mud run. It was a great day. Tough running through mud, but so much fun! First non-typical 5k I ran!
How did you get started running? I had always run growing up but for the most part I was a swimmer, I started running competitively to help better my swimming, realized that I enjoyed the competitive side of running and kept running all through school.
Favorite Running Event/Distance? 5k
What is/was your favorite part about running/ racing?
Running: The relaxing elements, I always felt clearer headed after a long run with a lot on my mind.
Racing: Being competitive by nature, I loved the ability to have people to run against and better yourself off of.
Who is your biggest cheerleader/supporter? My parents, they never missed a race, meet, or any event that I did. Although I always knew I had their support, they would not hold back when they knew I could do better which always helped hold me to the higher standards which I live by today.
What is your Spirit Animal? Why? Bear! Firstly, it’s my middle name secondly, they are great protectors, PLUS! they get to sleep all winter which being someone who doesn’t like the cold I would love to do that!!
What is your life’s motto? Words to live by? “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game” -Babe Ruth
Best Advice You Can Give to Others: Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today. This can tie into anything, whether its starting to train for that new race, or school or just life in general!
