A Northern Virginia native, Jenna is a true local of the area and can be seen in our Western stores including Leesburg and One Loudoun most frequently. Jenna joined our team in May and just recently was promoted to our leadership team. Prior to joining our team she was a customer as far back as when she was on her high school cross country team! Outside of running Jenna enjoys playing video games and taking photos! Her favorite video game you ask? World of Warcraft! How did you get started running, walking, or racing? My friend asked me to try cross country with her.
What was your first race? I don’t remember which was my first high school XC race so after high school I ran a 5K color run.
Favorite Race Memory: Setting a PR at Oatlands in high school.
Favorite Running Event/Distance? 10K
What is your favorite part about running and or racing? I love running because it’s when I can truly clear my mind and think about nothing. I love racing because the only one I’m competing against is myself.
Who is your biggest cheerleader/supporter? My husband, Ian.
What is your Spirit Animal? Why? A turtle because slow and steady wins the race.
What is your life’s motto? Words to live by? Carpe diem.
3 Fun Facts About Yourself: I play video games. I’ve been to Bolivia and Greece. I had a pandemic wedding (so really no wedding at all).
Favorite places to run or train: In Leesburg, I guess. I don’t like to drive so I just run from my house.

Headphones, phone, and belt.
Your last run/walk was: on tired legs after racing a 10K.
Your last race was: The South Lakes 10K and I felt great despite not running enough beforehand.
If I wasn’t running I’d be . . . playing video games.
My favorite post run/race meal is . . . a McGriddle and chocolate milk after a race.
What advice do you have for a new runner? It gets easier!
