The Kinvara took the running world by storm when it debuted in 2009. A shoe that was developed because of frustration and inspiration. 7x Ironman Champion Linsey Corbin was craving a shoe that met her demands, something that was light enough to race in but durable enough to withstand daily training. Thus, the Kinvara was created.
This was one of the first shoes to pioneer the 4mm offset. This drop creates a more natural ride and lets the feet and body do more work while relying less on the shoe’s cushion. The Kinvara 10 still uses Saucony’s EVERRUN as a topsole and EVA+ midsole for a responsive but cushioned ride.
New to the Kinvara 10 is Saucony’s FORMFIT footbed that creates a truly custom fit. The Pro-lock lacing system has been removed, but the shoe still provides a secure fit through the midfoot.
It’s been ten years since the Kinvara was first released, but year after year the Kinvara continues to be a grab for runners and walkers of all types. The shoe has evolved over the years to continue to meet the needs of today’s athletes and maintain the love from those who have been in this shoe over the years. Whether it’s a lightweight trainer or a more cushioned racer, the Saucony Kinvara 10 will fit those needs.
